What we do with your photographs.
You are handing a stranger photographs of the people you love, sometimes your children. Here is exactly what happens to them, in plain words. The legal version is linked at the bottom and says the same thing at greater length.
The photographs are deleted.
They exist to draw your people once, and nothing else. Locking that drawing starts the countdown, and the originals are then removed from our storage. The date you see comes from the same part of the app that does the deleting, so it cannot say one thing while something else happens.
Who can see a book.
Private by default. You choose who sees it: your own household, another household you have linked to, one named friend, or a link that only lets someone read it. That link shows the book and nothing else: none of your library, none of your characters, and no account.
What children see.
A child reading in the app sees books. No account details, no numbers, no billing, no way to make a purchase.
Deleting everything.
You can do it yourself, without asking us. You read a plain list of exactly what will be removed before you confirm, and then it is removed.
What we never do.
We never sell your photographs or your books, and never share them beyond the people you choose. We never publish a book; the public library shows only what someone put on display themselves. We never show a child anything to buy. And we never email you about anything except access, unless you ask us to.
